Well, I've decided to keep this blog public for now.
We recently had an update from our agency saying that the investigation has been completed and there is a new
director of IHNFA. The most promising news is that the adoption
committee is supposed to be meeting in February to assign waitlist
numbers and begin matching children with parents. We do not expect to
be included because as far as we know, our dossier is still at IHNFA, so
who knows how long it will take before we are approved to be placed on
the waitlist.
So now we just wait and see if things do actually start moving along.....
Glad you are still with us! I have been thinking about you and how I would watch what is happening. Glad to hear things are going to be moving again in Honduras. I think you have to believe that any progress forward is good progress. Eventually it will be your turn.
